On the theme: Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience, Den Planet in partnership with Fombang Institute, GERAS AND BETA, were out to sensitize, educate, create partnerships and empower youths during the world environment week, 2024.
It was a week-long activities from the 30th of May until the 5th of June, featuring; an art competition by our 21 volunteers, an eco walk creating awareness about this day, a presentation and discussion at Fombang Institute on the theme for celebration, a tree planting exercise with 48 fruit trees planted and a prize giving ceremony and award of certificates to all participants. We are so proud of our achievements and for attending our objectives of contributing to the UN 2030 Agenda on generation restoration. OUR LAND, OUR FUTURE.
