We constantly review and train our team and volunteers on our field processes to take advantage of expertise within and without our spheres. We continuously look for new arenas to train and empower young people to take up the task of catering for the environment.
Den Planet engages school children and young people in reforestation projects aimed at improving the natural eco-system. We also engage local communities, partner organizations and professional in tree planting exercises to expand our reach and impact.
We operate beyond just educating and empowering our communities. We make it a duty to take to our campaigns to the street to make sure that our environment is well-kept. We engage local communities, but most often we work with volunteers from all over.
Schools play key role in learning and action engagements. In our mandate is to bring environmental education to the academia, we run environmental schools clubs to promote best strategies and to transfer quality knowledge to the younger generations.
We conduct periodic community sensitization workshops and seminars on waste management and energy efficiency. This activity is intended to upgrade the knowledge and involvement of the community in the welfare efforts being promoted by Den Planet and her partners.
To further the understanding and impact volunteers acquire and create in our communities, Den Planet organizes programs that engage both in-house and external volunteers. These activities are aimed at expounding their role and responsibilities in the process.
