On the theme ‘Invest In Our Planet’, we took upon ourselves to grow organic home gardens using the organic compost we have been working on. This helps to provide us with healthy vegetables for home meals.
Also, we contribute in reducing marine plastic pollution as we use waste plastic bottles. This equally reduces the clogging of our drainages by these bottles and therefore, easy flow of water and low breeding of mosquitos. Again, these households are able to properly segregate and manage their household waste as they sort for the organic component. This activity contributes in SDGs 3,13,14, and 15.
